This really is one of the best apps out there. It's ideal for little ones to learn their letters, shapes, numbers and words. The idea is that they trace around the outline of the letters etc using their finger. They pick up the picture of a cow and then drag it through a series of apples (for example) to complete the shape. If they deviate too far they have to start again. It trains their eye/hand co-ordination, but of course teaches them how to write correctly as well. Our two are loving this and only see it as a game, while I am delighted that they are learning the rudiments of writing.
